Thanks man. Let see if I can keep the momentum up. Thinking about addressing brakes next, and bars. It might be time to take her off the lift and back onto the jack.
Buddy of mine was going to make me some gimp hangers. He couldn't bend them quite right, so he cut and welded them. I wasn't too sure at first but they are sure growing on me.
Looks like a lot of progress. Dual discs on the front will give good stopping power. I'm with you on the oil tank - have you thought about making your own? Where did the forward controls come from - look fine from here? Sorry, no help on the starter/seats/springs/tank. As far as the handlebars are concerned, I say use what you like. The bars look good, but I like 'em to follow the angle of the forks - just my personal taste. Keep up the good work!

i like the way it's sitting right now with the angle of the bars too, if they're comfortable. that's something everyone will have a different feeling about though. a round oil tank would look right at home in there.
would the rear caliper tuck in between the frame tubes? i think that always looks just a little cleaner. just a thought though.
The bars look great, whatever angle suits you. It has been suggested that your arms should be slightly bent in the riding position in case you need to make a quick, evasive maneuver.
